A lab built on a decade of listening.
Seak Lab exists because the people who train the world’s most consequential models are running out of decent human signal — and because we’ve spent ten years building the infrastructure to produce it ethically, at depth.
Born to capture human truth, built to fuel the future.
Askable is a research platform built for product teams who needed to talk to real users, fast. Over a decade we built the muscle, the panel, and the consent infrastructure to record real human work — at scale, ethically, and with chain-of-custody you can defend in front of a regulator.
For most of that time, the customer was a product team. In the last eighteen months, frontier AI teams started asking us a different question: can you do that, but for training data?
The answer was yes. Seak Lab is the answer.
Led by minds that push the frontier.

Extraction of deeper more complex human data — it’s what we do.
Three stages: capture, instrumentation, delivery. Raw expert work in, ingestion-ready samples out. Each stage adds structure; nothing leaves the platform unaccounted for.
Production
Verified experts. Real work, real tools, real environment. Voice, screen, peripherals captured. No simulated tasks, no synthetic prompts.
Instrumentation
Every action timestamped. Modalities aligned at millisecond resolution. Decision points tagged, reasoning enriched, consent and provenance built in.
Delivery
Schema-conformant. Shaped to your pipeline, not a generic format. Direct ingestion, full provenance, expert attribution. No reformatting, no second pass.
Three things we won’t compromise on.
We get asked for shortcuts on all three of these, sometimes by partners we’d really like to work with. We don’t take the shortcuts. The cost of getting this wrong, for the labs we partner with and for the field as a whole, is much larger than the cost of getting it right.
Named, paid, consenting participants.
Every session is captured in collaboration with a participant who knows what they're contributing to, why, and what we'll do with it. They're paid for their time at professional rates. They can withdraw any time before delivery.
- — Identity-verified recruitment
- — Capability-specific consent forms
- — Withdrawal possible until release
- — Paid at professional, not gig, rates
Auditable chain of custody.
Every sample carries its provenance with it. We can tell you, for any byte we ship, where it was recorded, by whom, under what brief, against which consent form, reviewed by whom, on which date.
- — Per-sample provenance record
- — Versioned consent references
- — Independent review log
- — Delivery audit on partner side
Schema co-design with partners.
We don't push a single dataset format. The structure of each sample is co-designed with the receiving lab, so what arrives plugs into the workflows that already exist there. The data is yours, in the shape you need it in.
- — Partner-specific schemas
- — Versioned and re-issuable
- — Shipped to your storage
- — Exclusivity available
Distinct from the parent — but not separate.
Askable remains the product-research platform. Seak Lab is a research lab inside the same company, sharing the panel infrastructure and the consent stack, with its own brief, its own team, and its own delivery model.
You can come to us as a frontier lab partner without ever touching the product-research side. You can come to us as a product team without thinking about the lab. The plumbing underneath is the same; the front door isn’t.
- — Quant + qual user research
- — Panel of 82,000 verified participants
- — Self-serve and managed plans
- — Customers: product teams, design teams
- — Multimodal expert capture
- — Same panel, deeper instrumentation
- — Bespoke partnership only
- — Customers: frontier AI labs
If you’re training the next generation of models, the bottleneck is human truth.
